After Hours Sneak Preview at the Niche Gallery

Bradford J. Smith came back home to the Capital Region area after an illustrious career as a photographer in New York City during the 1940s and 1950s.

By day, fashion photos for Harper’s Bazaar.
By night, nude portraits of aspiring actresses.

Bradford’s (now) vintage photography evokes those early days of Madison Avenue’s advertising “mad” men.

Bradford passed away in June of 2016. We are very proud to share with the world the project Bradford was working on for the last year of his life.
After Hours is an exhibit that showcases Bradford’s vintage work. Reprints of Bradford’s work will be on display at the Niche Galley Birthday Bash on May 21, 2017. The original prints will be available for viewing and purchase at Brookside August 10, 2017. This is a golden opportunity to own a piece of history as vintage prints will go to Heritage Auction House photography auction in October 2017.
