After Hours at the Brookside Museum
Party like its 1949! Join us for a once in a lifetime event . Bradford J. Smith, Brookside’s most famous – and colorful – occupant, came to Ballston Spa after an illustrious career as a photographer in New York City during the 1940s and 1950s.
By day, fashion photos for Harper’s Bazaar.
By night, nude portraits of aspiring actresses.
Bradford’s (now) vintage photography will be shown in an atmosphere evoking those early days of Madison Avenue’s advertising “mad “ men.
This is a golden opportunity to own a piece of history as vintage prints will go to Heritage Auction House photography auction in October 2017.
Sale of these one of a kind vintage photos will benefit the Saratoga County Historical Society.
